Mr. ABM Amin Ullah Nuri is an officer of 11th batch of BCS (Administration) cadre. He was born in Juldha village of Karnafuli upazila (then Patia) under Chittagong district. His father was Alhaj Maulvi Mohammad Abdun Noor and his mother was Maryam Begum.
He graduated from Dhaka University in 1967 with a B.Sc. S. S (Honors) and M. in 197. S. S (Political Science) degree. He joined the government service on 1 April 1993 as a member of the BCS administration cadre as an assistant commissioner.
Mr. ABM Amin Ullah Nuri has served with dedication and success at various levels of administration. He joined the Rajshahi office of the Divisional Commissioner as Assistant Commissioner. His notable work and place of work are: Assistant Commissioner, Sirajganj Collectorate; Assistant Commissioner (Land), Nangalkot and Daudkandi; Senior Assistant Commissioner and 1st Class Magistrate, Laxmipur Collectorate; Revenue Deputy Collector, Feni Collectorate; Officer-in-Charge, Refugee Camp, Cox's Bazar; Upazila Executive Officer, Melandah, Daudkandi and Feni Sadar Upazilas; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Narayanganj District; Chief Executive Officer, Narayanganj City Corporation; Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Industries and Ministry of Public Administration, Joint Secretary and Additional Secretary, Ministry of Religious Affairs; Hajj Officer, Mecca and Medina, Saudi Arabia; Additional Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Public Works; Chief Executive Officer, Dhaka South City Corporation and Chairman (Secretary), Capital Development Authority. He has been serving as the Secretary of Road Transport and Highways Department since June 4, 2022.
He has participated in various trainings, seminars / workshops in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, China, Vietnam, India, Turkey, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Indonesia as part of government work.
He has one son and one daughter. His wife Kazi Unme Salma is a housewife.
